Save the Women's Road Race at the Dumfries BikeFest

Women's Road Race at the Dumfries Bike Fest is in danger of being cancelled due to lack of entries, says club member, Joyce Blair.

The closing date for entries was supposed to be 17th May but they've moved it to Wednesday 19th in the hope of more competitors. The race will take place on 30th May.

Joyce says "There's a real drive on at the moment to increase women's racing in Scotland I'm thinking about signing up for it and the only events I've done so far are the Lake of Menteith APR Feminine and the Etape Caledonia. Anybody else fancy it?"
