The Clarion have been been getting out in large groups over the last few weeks, many thanks to all those who have attended our club runs, but especially Club Captain Andy Weaving and Neil Greer who have attended regularly to lead the Saturday rides starting in Linlithgow and East Calder.
The Sunday run is getting bigger and better each week thanks to the commitment of Allan McCrimmon who regularly leads those rides.
NEW TUESDAY NIGHT CHAIN GANG
The summer training ride, a chaingang around the Whitehill Industrial Estate in Bathgate, is now up and running. It starts at 7.00pm every Tuesday with the bunch riding about 20 laps around the 1 mile circuit, ideal training and great for group riding skills.

LONGER EAST CALDER RIDE
The East Calder run will be longer this week. The plan for this Saturday's ride is to set out on the "Tour of the Pentlands" www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/399508
Neil Greer says "If you do the full run it is 80 miles; however, for those who don't want to stretch their legs that far, there are the options of doing the shorter loops of Tarbrax (25 miles), Carnwath (40 miles) or Biggar (65 miles) so. hopefully, something for everyone... and plenty of options for cafe stops!
